You’re interesting.

Whether you are building something personal, professional, or alongside your community, sharing your story is essential to your success.

I help people share real stories clearly and thoughtfully.

Through editing, audio production, and carefully curated footage, I work with creators, groups, and organizations to support storytelling that is grounded, human, and useful. This includes podcasts, video projects, and the quiet visuals that sit underneath a voice and help a story land.

What I do.

Video Editing and Story Support

I support video projects through editing and structural guidance, helping creators turn raw footage into clear, engaging stories. This includes long-form video, interviews, and explainer-style content, with an emphasis on restraint, rhythm, and visuals that serve the narrative rather than overpower it.

Podcast Production and Editing

I provide audio or video podcast production and post-production, from shaping raw recordings into finished episodes to managing the full editing and delivery process. My focus is on clarity, pacing, and helping the story come through without distraction, whether the goal is long-form conversation or more structured narrative work.

Curated Footage and Visual Context

I create and supply small, curated sets of B-roll and stock footage focused on everyday life, public space, and movement. This includes plug-and-play packs as well as limited custom sourcing, shot primarily in France and Japan, for projects that need grounded visual context without a full production lift.

Need a storytelling shortcut?

I create small, curated B-roll packs focused on everyday life, public space, and movement, shot primarily in France and Japan.

These packs are designed for folks looking to tell their own story who need grounded, contemplative footage for documentaries, explainers, background visuals, and narrative projects. These clips work quietly under voiceover and alongside real-world storytelling.

Each pack is intentionally edited for cohesion and flexibility, prioritizing usefulness over spectacle.

Urban Japan - Everyday Street Scenes, Transit, and Public Spaces

Quiet Japan - Small Cities, Regional Trains, and Rural Islands
A curated collection of everyday footage from regional Japan, focusing on small cities, local trains, ferry towns, and quiet countryside scenes far from the crowds of Tokyo and Osaka.

I’m Devin.

I come from a background in public policy and local government, with years of experience working directly with constituents on issues related to housing, cities, and public space. Central to that work was storytelling as a way to make complex subjects more accessible and more human. Without story, there was no shared understanding and no co-creation.

Today, I work with creators, groups, and organizations on podcasts, video editing, and long-form projects that value clarity, restraint, and real-world context. My clients range from individuals with a personal story to tell, to educators looking for new ways to connect with students, to organizations helping people pursue international living, to movement-focused groups working toward systemic change.

Alongside client work, I use YouTube as an ongoing experiment to explore how stories about place, movement, and systems can be told visually. Across all of this, my focus stays the same: helping people share their story in a way that feels grounded, thoughtful, and useful

Let’s work together.
